Phoebe

I think Holden and his sister have a great relationship. Phoebe is the only person Holden has that is truly their for him. You can tell he loves her when he buys her a rare record, and takes her to go on the carousel(idk how to spell it). You can tell Phoebe also loves Holden when she tells her parents she's been smoking to cover for him. They have a great relationship, but it's sort of non-realistic. Maybe it's because I also don't know anyone that had nearly as messed up of a life as Holden, but I don't know any brother or sister who show their love for eachother that much. 

Holden is a weirdo

I think it's pretty weird how Holden always calls random people to meet up with. Like for example he calls his academic advisor Carl to hang out with? Who would want to hang with their academic advisor honestly. The kid is desperate, which reminds me of this kid Eric B ,  aka Bill Nye. Eric has zero friends and is so desperate. He once offered me 500 dollars to see a movie with him! hahaha, what a loser. Anywaaaaay, the weirdest part about holden is how he tries to talk about sex with his academic advisor that he hasn't seen in a while. Holden is a creep. Carl was completely correct when he said that Holden should be psychoanalyzed. Btw Billy Nye dropped the game winning catch in 8th grade football against Creskill! What a loser.

 I am similar to a lot of the characters. They're funny like me. The author reminds me of my dad so it's pretty cool. 

I thought it was funny how holden and his friends act, and beat eachother up.
